of buildings for fire code compliance and corrections if needed. Provide detailed reports of findings along with recommended corrective measures.

FIRE CODE RESEARCH, INTERPRETATION, AND TECHNICAL CONSULTATION
with authors of the fire code to supply correct answers and solutions for code compliance issues.
03.
FIRE ALARM ACCEPTANCE TESTING
Ability to conduct complete initial fire alarm acceptance testing to include:
- Fire Alarm systems
- Range Hood/Commercial cooking systems
- Extinguishment systems (FM -200), Sprinklers, Fire Department Connections (FDC), Hydrants
These still require signed approval from the Authority Having Jurisdiction.

EXISTING BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS
Perform fire inspections for maintenance of existing building fire alarm systems. These still require signed approval from the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
05.
POINT OF CONTACT FOR AUTHORITY OF JURISDICTION
Consultation with the Honolulu Fire Department on client’s behalf for full range of needs.
06.
COMPOSE AUTHORITY OF JURISDICTION EQUIVALENCY REQUEST LETTERS
Draft request letters to HFD when asking for equivalencies with the fire code, or time extensions, and fire watch requests, while the client’s building is not fully compliant.
07.
PLAN ANALYSIS
Plans analysis for new, existing, or simple tenant improvements. In addition to the plans analysis, I can aid with streamlining the building permit process with the Department of Planning and Permitting by utilizing key personnel that I have aligned with, such as third-party expediters and mechanical and electrical engineers that I have done business with for many years as a fire inspector with HFD.
